Taylor Swift: Watch Her Explosive New ‘Bad Blood’ Video

Could Taylor Swift secretly be a futuristic assassin?

In the pop star’s new video for her single “Bad Blood,” which premiered on the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night, she rounded up a who’s who of women and Kendrick Lamar to take on some evil and do some general butt-kicking in the process. Arms and windows are broken. MMA fight scenes go down. And to cap it off, a bunch of fiery explosions douse the screen with flames.

Joining Swift in “Bad Blood” is Lena Dunham, Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez, Ellen Pompeo, Cindy Crawford, Mariska Hargitay, and more. You’ll have to watch closely, because they tend to breeze by the screen with catchy codenames.

“Bad Blood” is the fourth single from Swift’s chart-topping “1989.” She kicks off the U.S. portion of her “1989″ world tour on May 20 in Bossier City, La. 

Cute Nicknames your Boyfriend will Love

There comes a time when you feel the need to give your guy a nickname. Of course, if he already has a nickname bestowed on him from family and friends, you may want to stick to that. But if you are trying to come up with a really cute nickname for him there are plenty of options to choose from. Just make sure you take the time to decide on a moniker he will actually like and appreciate. In your heart you may feel that schnookums is the perfect nickname for him, but imagine the embarrassment he will have to endure if you say that name in front of his friends. Traditional nicknames for your boyfriend are endearments like honey, dear, sugar or sweetie pie. You might come up with a shortened version of his real name, like Eddie for Edward. But if you want to be more creative, chose a nickname that fits him and puts him in a good light. You can use a cute nickname that shows what a hunk you think he is, a name that tells the world that he is funny and makes you laugh, or that he is good looking or romantic. Another way to go is to use a nickname that reflects his physical attributes, as long as you are complimentary and do not call him something like big ears. Foreign names have a sophisticated, romantic ring to them, and choosing coordinating names for you and your boyfriend can make your bond to him even closer. Nicknames tend to stick, so choose wisely. Just like the Motown Temptations song, sugarpie and honey bunch are terms of endearment still used today to show affection. Wordplay on His Real Name

An easy way to pick a cute nickname for your boyfriend is to wordplay on his real given name. Maximilian can become Max, Andrew can become Drew and Nicholas can be called Nick or Nicky. Similarly, Anthony becomes Ant, Eric becomes Air and Carl becomes Car. Using his initials is another way to go. A cute nickname for a guy named Alexander John makes use of his initials, AJ. Another way to use his initials is to just call him by the first letter of his given name. Sometimes his surname or last name is easier to pronounce than his given name, so you might want to call him by his surname or a variation thereof. In that case, Zachary Rose can become Rose or Rosy. Calling your man by a name that reflects his attributes makes a lot of sense, but make sure you do not go negative. Funny Nicknames

One of the all time greatest nickname for a guy belongs to Shaun White, the professional snowboarder and skateboarder called The Flying Tomato. With his red hair he could have just been called carrot top, but The Flying Tomato is much more descriptive and way cooler. Get inspiration from other sports figure nicknames, like basketball star Magic Johnson, Action Jackson, the football star, and Wilt the Stilt Chamberlain. If your guy is large, you might call him Stretch, Fatty Bom Bom or Tons of Fun. For sarcasm, try Shorty for a tall guy or Tiny for a big guy. When in doubt, just add pants to a descriptive word for a nickname like sillypants or smartypants.

Foreign Nicknames

Foreign nicknames can sound tres romantic. Like the male rendition of ma Cherie Amour, you could call your man mi amor, mon cher or inamorato for my love, my dear or lover in Spanish, French and Italian respectively. Cute couple’s nicknames can emphasize the bond the two of you have together. If you are a passionate couple, try Romeo and Juliet. If he is the man of your dreams, you can be Cinderella to his Prince Charming. If you and your man like to take a walk on the wild side, go with Tarzan and Jane. For pure comic effect, Popeye and Olive Oil will work, especially if he likes to show off his muscles and you are tall and thin. Or, you can have one cute nickname for the two of you, a la Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Brangelina.

First Dates Don’t Have to Be Horrid

It doesn’t matter if you are a serial dater or just coming back into the dating scene after a hiatus.  There is nothing that will give your stomach the jitters like a first date.   It is that mix of nerves, anxiety, excitement and intrigue all bundled into one.

It would not be too far-fetched to consider a first date a personal interview.  After all, that is exactly how you feel when you agree to go on one.  Just like a professional interview, you struggle with what to wear and what to say all in an effort to make a good first impression.  You also stress about the logistics such as will you be driving separately and meeting there and even how the bill will be handled.

There are definite dos and don’ts to a first date.  Most of the do’s and don’ts can be accomplished effortlessly based solely on where you and your partner choose to go and the activities you choose to do on your date.  While we would like to believe that a first date should just be a “go with the flow” type of date; it is more realistic to have a plan in order to achieve your goal of getting to know the other person and seeing if there is a connection or chemistry.

There are five things that you will want to consider when deciding where to go on your first date:

• Will you have the opportunity to talk and get to know each other?
• Will you be able to be yourself?
• Will you feel safe?
• Is it something of someplace you both agree on?
• Is it something or someplace you will both enjoy?

First let’s bust a major myth.  All dates to not have to happen on the weekend at night.  In fact, it is often best if they don’t.  Keeping a first date casual is the best way to reduce some of the stress a first date brings.

Another myth is that dates usually always consist of some type of meal followed by a movie or other activity that does not promote conversation.  The best way to avoid this is by considering how you met in the first place or why your friend thought you would make a good pair.  Did you meet at a museum or at a sporting event?  If so, why not make your first date a similar activity since you already know you have that in common.  It would lead to easy conversation and you will relax being in your comfort zone.

To avoid both the “weekend/nighttime” and the cliché “dinner and a movie” dates, here are some suggestions for dates that are casual, safe, and comfortable.

Go for a walk – Simple but awesome.  Nowadays, people think they need to pull out all the stops and make the date amazingly impressive.  Dates are not about how much money or how elaborate the date is.  It is about having great conversation, getting to know each other and seeing if this is a person you would like to spend more time with.  Why not pick a small town with a cute historic main street for your stroll followed by a stop into the local café for a cup of coffee?

Picnic and people watching – Decide on a local park or beach and enjoy a nice picnic.  Not only will everyone feel relaxed but there is always conversation to be had when you are in an area that is great for people watching.

Go boating, canoeing or kayaking – Any fun outdoor date that keeps you active, allows you to use teamwork and gives plenty of time for relaxing and talking is a great first date option.

Go for a jog – If both of you are runners why not make your first date a run followed by a stop for a great protein shake afterwards?

Games and pizza – Sometimes low key is the best date so you may want to consider an afternoon or evening of video games and pizza.  If you have mutual friends than this might be a great way to have a date while being around others that you both enjoy hanging out with.

Antiquing and old bookstores – Any type of place that intrigues you both is a great place to go wonder and window shop.  Discussing your favorite authors or exploring period pieces in an antique shop will make for non-stop conversation that you will both enjoy.

Suggest a class – Do you both like painting, wine tasting or sushi?  Take a class together.  Many businesses and community colleges offer one day classes on everything from kite making to yoga.

Go to dinner – While dinner and movie is so cliché, you can still go to dinner and make it interesting.  Choose a new restaurant in town that neither of you have tried.  Pretend you are food critics and enjoy the evening ranking the food, wine list, ambiance and service.

Avoid any date that puts you way out of your comfort zone.  If you are afraid of flying than do not agree to do on a helicopter ride of the city.  However, don’t be afraid to try things that you have never done but always wanted to try.  If your date suggest horseback riding and you want to go…say yes!  Don’t be shy.  Let your partner know this is new to you and that you are looking forward to the adventure.

Hopes are that after your first date you will both agree that the company was the best and that a second date is in order.  Each of the first date suggestions above offer a great opportunity for a follow up date.  If you enjoyed your jog together, suggest another jogging trail you have wanted to try.  Did you love the wine tasting class?  Why not suggest the advanced class being held the following week?  If the restaurant critiquing was fun suggest you do it again at another restaurant or offer to try to recreate the same meal together at your place next week.

Dating doesn’t have to be a stomach turning, jitter filled activity.  Plan ahead, relax, be yourself and enjoy!

Famous Actors That Died Too Young

James Dean (1931-1955)

James Dean was the star of some of 50’s major hits like East of Eden, Rebel without a Cause, and Giant. He is ranked at #18 in AFI’s 100 Years…100 Stars list and is a prominent cult icon in the movie industry. He was only 24 years old when he passed away from a car accident.

Bruce Lee (1940-1973)

One of Martial Art’s biggest icons is Bruce Lee. His popular movies include Fist of Fury, Enter the Dragon, and Way of the Dragon (ever wondered who would win in a fight between Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris, then watch this film!). Bruce Lee died at the age of 32 from cerebral edema. His son, Brandon Lee, suffered a similar tragedy; he was accidently shot while shooting the film The Crow. Brandon died at the young age of 28 and like his father, his legacy as cultural icon continues with their fans.

Marilyn Monroe (1926-1962)

Hollywood’s most notable sex symbol, Marilyn Monroe, starred in popular titles like Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Seven Year Itch, and Some Like it Hot. She was only 36 years old when she was found dead; autopsy concluded that the cause of death was due to barbiturate overdose.

Heath Ledger (1979-2008)

With noteworthy performances in The Patriot, Brokeback Mountain, and as the Joker in the Dark Knight, Heath Ledger’s death came as a shock to all. The actor died at the young age of 28 due to intoxication caused by abusing prescription medication.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman (1967-2014)

Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s most iconic role came with his portrayal of the author Truman Capote in the film Capote.  Hoffman had received numerous awards – including the prestigious Academy Awards for Best Actor. His other famous performances include Charlie Wilson’s War, Doubt, The Master, and The Hunger Games. He passed away in February of 2014 at the age of 46; it was ruled that he had died from, “acute mixed drug intoxication, including heroin, cocaine, benzodiazepines and amphetamine.

Brittany Murphy (1977-2009)

Brittany Murphy’s performances in Clueless, 8 mile, Sin City, and as the voice of Luanne Platter (King of the Hill) are some of her most memorable works. She passed away in December 2009 at the age of 32 primarily due to pneumonia.

Gary Coleman (1968-2010)

Gary Coleman’s most notable character came to us as Arnold Jackson in the show Diff’rent Strokes – his cuteness as a young boy won the hearts of all that watched the show. As an adult, he was unfortunately surrounded by misery and spent a good portion of it depressed. He passed away in 2010 at the age of 42 from an accident; he had fallen down the stairs.

Jean Harlow (1911-1937)

Known as the “platinum blonde” and the “blonde bombshell’, Jean Harlow was a successful actress and a sex symbol in the 1930’s. She starred in movies like Hell’s Angels, Red Dust, and Suzy. She died due to cerebral edema at the age of 26.

Paul Walker (1973-2013)

Paul Walker is mostly remembered by his character Brian O’Conner in the Fast and Furious movie series. The actor passed away in a car accident and was only 40 years of age. Good news for Walker fans is that they will get to see him once again in Fast and Furious 7 which is scheduled to be released in April of 2015.

‘s children are allhandling his transition in different ways, and even Kim Kardashian West, who Jenner called the “most accepting,” has her moments of difficulty with the situation.

In a newly released clipfrom E!’s upcomingKeeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce two-part special, Kim fights back tears as she talks to half-sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner about their father’s journey.

“He’s gonna tell his full story, at first I was like I was ‘I’m totally gonna cry, I’m totally gonna cry,’ ” Kim tells her sisters of talking to Bruce about his20/20interview with Diane Sawyer last month.

“I was thinking, ‘Mom this is really hard for her.’ It’s so sad. She cries all the time and it makes me really sad,” Kim, 34, said in the sneak peek, wiping away tears. “We should really appreciate all the things she does for us, because she does a lot.”

In an earlier promo, Bruce spoke sweetly about his ex-wife Kris Jenner, and seemed grateful for her understanding.

“You know, Kris is a really good woman, and I love her to death,” said Bruce, 65. “And the love and acceptance I have gotten from Kris is absolutely overwhelming.”

Jennifer Aniston’s ‘Mean Moms’ Will Be ‘Mean Girls’ for Adults

Jennifer Aniston may have just found her next funny role. The star is reportedly eyeing a part in Mean Moms, an upcoming female-driven comedy described as the grown-up version of 2004’s Mean Girls.

Like its teenage-themed counterpart, Mean Moms will be adapted from an advice book written by Rosalind Wiseman. Whereas Mean Girls was inspired by Wiseman’s Queen Bees And Wannabes, the new flick will be based on her other parenting tome, Queen Bee Moms And King Pin Dads: Dealing With The Parents, Teachers, Coaches, And Counselors Who Can Make — or Break — Your Child’s Future.

According to Deadline, Mean Moms will follow the story of a happily married mother of two who moves from small-town America to the high-class suburbs and finds that she must suddenly deal with the cutthroat world of competitive parenting. Aniston has reportedly not officially signed a deal for the film just yet, but is seriously considering taking on the project. It remains unclear who exactly the actress would play or whether her character will be a “queen bee” (like Mean Girls’s Regina George, played by Rachel McAdams) or the target of a queen bee (like Lindsay Lohan’s Cady Heron).

Sean Anders and John Morris, who previously teamed up on the comedies Hot Tub Time Machine, We’re The Millers, and Dumb and Dumber To, wrote the most recent draft of the script, per Deadline. Anders, who directed this year’s Will Ferrell-starring Daddy’s Home, will also helm the flick. Should Aniston sign on, the project would reunite her with the filmmaker after the two previously collaborated on 2013’s We’re the Millers and last year’s Horrible Bosses 2. Meanwhile, Mean Girls executive producer Jill Messick is producing alongside Offspring Entertainment partners Jennifer Gibgot (17 Again) and Adam Shankman (The Last Song,Step Up Revolution).

Mean Girls, written by Tina Fey and directed by Mark Waters, was a hit at the time of its debut, garnering $129 million at the box office against a budget of $17 million. The teen comedy has also since developed a cult following. Whether a similarly themed, more adult version of the film will be able to replicate that same success remains to be seen, although a cast with big names like Aniston could certainly put it off to a strong start.

For Aniston, Mean Moms would mark a return to comedy after the actress earned lots of public attention for showing off her more dramatic acting chops in last year’s Cake. Her performance in the film was well-received among critics and earned her nominations at both the Screen Actors Guild awards and the Golden Globes.

Mean Moms could be a good match for Aniston, should she choose to board the film. The actress has started moving away from her usual rom-coms in recent years and taking more out of-the-box comedic roles, like her slightly disturbing, sex-obsessed character in the black comedy franchise Horrible Bosses and her lead in the crime comedy Life of Crime.

We’ll have to stay tuned to see whether she adds Mean Moms to her resume too. The developing movie is reportedly targeting a summer production start date, so a decision will likely be made sooner rather than later. In the meantime, Aniston is next set to appear on the big screen in this August’s She’s Funny That Way.

1. She has a background in theater

While Miley was doing just that in the most obscene way seen yet last year, Grande decided to take a different approach when she was ready to push away from Nickelodeon. While for now Grande’s image is that of the bubbly, retro, sexy-in-a-safe-way pop singer, she’s definitely got a hidden dark side that it would be interesting to see her explore in the future, either in her music, her aesthetic, or both. In a “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” article written for Us Weekly, the singer said, “I wish every day were Halloween,” “I have had a sick obsession with horror movies since I was little,” and “My mom thought I’d grow up to be a serial killer because I wore Halloween masks around the house.” Grande is perhaps the least intimidating singer in pop music due to her innocent image and small stature, but if even her mother is afraid of her, maybe there’s an inner killer just waiting to come out — a killer who could be embraced for an album of murder ballads, perhaps?

5. She’s the second female artist to have three songs in the top 10 at the same time

Aside from Adele, Grande is the only lead female artist to have three songs in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. Her singles “Problem” featuring Iggy Azalea, “Break Free” featuring Zedd, and “Bang Bang,” a collaboration with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj that the trio also performed at the MTV Video Music Awards, were all in the top 10 at the same time last summer, making Grande the biggest pop star of 2014.

Grande got her second No. 1 album in less than a year with My Everything hitting the top spot on the Billboard 200 album charts in its first week on sale. Grande is the first woman to have two No. 1 albums in the same year since Susan Boyle did back in 2010.

7. The new album is getting surprisingly decent reviews

With a 66 score on Metacritic, Grande’s sophomore effort is getting more praise than one would typically expect from such a young pop star just coming out of her teen TV show phase. “On My Everything, Grande ditches the manic-Disney-dream-girl ballads and goes straight for the bangers; while it may not be as consistent a statement as Yours Truly, it’s refreshingly grown-up,” said Pitchfork. Grande’s decision to make an album that’s essentially a pastiche of about a million different pop trends from the last half century has been praised by some critics as forward-thinking and others as scatter-brained.

“In the big leagues Grande has catapulted into, reinvention is great, and retro is an option, but it’s no longer enough merely to sound like one era. You must sound like every period consecutively, even simultaneously if you can,” said music critic Katherine St. Asph in a piece on My Everything for Slate. Something everyone can get behind? Her voice. While her stage presence and artistic direction might need some work, Grande can out-sing almost any other pop star.

8. My Everything has some guest spots from a diverse group of artists

Something that helped Grande’s sophomore effort sound so much more mature than her debut was the decision to experiment with a group of very different and very unexpected collaborators to try different sounds. While there are some expected faces for a pop tart like Grande, including One Direction’s Harry Styles and rapper Big Sean, who she’s rumored to be dating, there were some very left-of-center inclusions, as well. Iggy Azalea was a smart gamble, as Azalea turned out to be the only star rivaling Grande for the title of pop star of the summer, and she helped take Grande’s “Problem” to No. 1. Edgier guests like The Weeknd and A$AP Ferg help her get sexy without turning into Miley by letting them do the explicit work for her on songs like “Love Me Harder” and “Hands on Me,” respectively.
